Innovations become a reality when they are well executed. The LDAR program in Borouge testifies to this fact. Fugitive emission monitoring in Borouge has been awarded for two years with one year extension option to the Kanoo Group with ATMECO of Australia.


Project Highlights

  • The Borouge Fugitive Emissions management program is part of Abu Dhabi Polymers’ continuing commitment to production performance improvement and environment emissions reduction
  • This program ensures leak risks are properly identified, managed, and minimized emissions to the environment from leaks in plant process area
  • Infrared (IR) Detector (Optical Gas Imaging) was introduced for the first time along with traditional toxic vapour analyzer in ADNOC Group of Companies
  • Easy identification/tracking of leaker/potential leak source information from online database Component Integrated Management System (CIMS)
