All of our offshore cranes are built using the tried-and-true kingpost design. This fundamental design consists of a fixed or stationary kingpost and a rotating superstructure that fits over and rotates around the fixed post. All of the equipment is mounted to the rotating superstructure, including the boom, machinery house, operator’s cabin, hoist, and slewing machinery.
